Website Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Lusso website. This website is operated by Lusso Consulting Group Ltd, trading as Lusso Consulting Group, Lusso Search, Lusso Advisory and Lusso Transactions and Lusso (“Lusso”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10615290.

Lusso operates across three areas: Search · Advisory · Transactions. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website.

These Terms relate to use of the website. Where you formally engage Lusso to provide services, separate Terms of Business, engagement terms, proposals or other written agreements may apply. If there is any conflict, the terms specifically agreed for that engagement will take precedence in relation to that engagement.

1.About this website

The Lusso website provides information about our business, services, opportunities, market activity, insights and ways to contact us.

Content is provided for general information only. Nothing on this website creates an obligation on Lusso to act for you, represent you, introduce you to another party, accept an instruction or enter into a transaction.

A professional relationship with Lusso is established only when we have expressly agreed to provide services.

2.Search

Information relating to recruitment assignments, vacancies, employers, candidates and market opportunities is provided in good faith based on information available to Lusso at the relevant time.

Vacancies and opportunities may change, be placed on hold, be withdrawn or be filled without notice.

Nothing on this website constitutes:

  • —an offer of employment;
  • —a guarantee of an interview or appointment;
  • —a guarantee that a particular vacancy remains available;
  • —a guarantee that an employer will proceed with a recruitment process; or
  • —a guarantee that Lusso will agree to represent a candidate or undertake an assignment.

Lusso may publish anonymised candidate profiles or descriptions of talent within the market. These are intended to provide an indication of an individual's experience, capability and requirements without unnecessarily identifying them.

An anonymised profile does not give permission to identify, approach or attempt to identify the individual concerned.

We do not ordinarily disclose an identifiable candidate profile or CV to a prospective employer without the candidate's knowledge or agreement.

Candidates remain responsible for ensuring that information supplied to Lusso about their experience, qualifications, employment history and circumstances is accurate.

Employers remain responsible for their own assessment, interviews, references, background checks, right-to-work checks and employment decisions.

3.Advisory

Content relating to business performance, recruitment strategy, leadership, remuneration, growth, succession, organisational structure, market conditions or other commercial matters is provided for general information.

It should not be treated as advice specific to your business unless Lusso has been formally engaged to provide Advisory services.

Lusso provides commercial and strategic advisory services. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not provide legal, tax, accounting, audit, investment, regulated financial, funding or fundraising advice.

You should obtain appropriately qualified independent advice where a decision requires expertise outside Lusso's scope.

Business outcomes depend upon numerous factors outside our control. Accordingly, discussion of strategies, opportunities or potential outcomes should not be interpreted as a guarantee of any particular commercial result.

4.Transactions

Information concerning businesses, acquisition opportunities, buyers, investors, sellers or potential transactions may be deliberately limited or anonymised to protect confidentiality.

A business appearing on the website may not necessarily be openly marketed for sale.

Likewise, the presence of a buyer or acquisition mandate does not guarantee that the party will pursue or complete a particular transaction.

Website content relating to a transaction is intended to facilitate an initial conversation. It does not constitute an offer, investment recommendation, prospectus, valuation, representation, warranty or invitation upon which a person should make a financial or commercial decision.

Any financial information, turnover, profit, headcount, valuation indication, historic performance, forecast, market position or other information concerning a business may have been supplied by the relevant owner, management team or another source.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Lusso has not independently audited or verified that information.

Anyone considering a transaction is responsible for conducting appropriate independent due diligence and obtaining their own legal, tax, accounting, financial and other professional advice before entering into any commitment.

5.Confidential and anonymised information

Discretion is central to the way Lusso operates.

Certain information on this website may therefore be intentionally anonymised, generalised or withheld.

You must not use information obtained through this website to deliberately circumvent Lusso, identify a confidential party, interfere with a confidential process or contact an individual or business where it is reasonably apparent that their identity has intentionally been protected.

Where Lusso provides further confidential information following an enquiry, that information may be subject to additional confidentiality requirements or a non-disclosure agreement.

Nothing published on this website should be interpreted as waiving confidentiality over information not expressly made public.

6.Field Notes and editorial content

Articles, commentary, observations and other material published through Field Notes or elsewhere on the website represent general observations and commentary.

They may discuss recruitment, leadership, business, transactions, market behaviour and the built environment, but they are not intended to constitute professional advice.

Views and market observations may change as circumstances and information change.

Where content includes opinion, it should be understood as opinion rather than a statement of objective fact.

7.Accuracy of information

We take reasonable care when preparing information for the website, but recruitment markets, businesses, vacancies, remuneration, people and transaction circumstances can change quickly.

We therefore do not guarantee that every piece of information on the website will always be complete, current or error-free.

If you are considering making a decision based on information appearing on the website, please speak to us so that relevant information can be confirmed in context.

8.Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website belongs to Lusso or is used by us with permission.

This includes, without limitation:

  • —written copy;
  • —articles and Field Notes;
  • —branding and logos;
  • —graphics;
  • —photographs and imagery;
  • —candidate and opportunity profiles;
  • —methodology and process descriptions;
  • —page design and layout; and
  • —downloadable materials created by Lusso.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for your own personal or internal business use.

You may not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, scrape, systematically extract, modify, distribute or use substantial parts of our content without our prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

9.Acceptable use

You must not use the website:

  • —unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • —to introduce malicious software or interfere with the operation or security of the website;
  • —to obtain unauthorised access to systems or information;
  • —to harvest personal information;
  • —to impersonate another person;
  • —to submit knowingly false or misleading information;
  • —to infringe another person's rights;
  • —to misuse confidential or anonymised information; or
  • —in a way that could reasonably damage Lusso, its clients, candidates or other parties.

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe the website is being misused.

10.Information you send to us

If you contact Lusso through the website, email, a booking system or another communication channel, you are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is reasonably accurate.

Please do not send highly sensitive or unnecessary personal information through a general website form.

Sending us a CV, enquiry, business information or transaction information does not by itself oblige Lusso to accept an instruction or act on your behalf.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

11.Third-party websites and services

The website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party services, for example for appointment scheduling or other website functionality.

These services are operated independently of Lusso and may have their own terms and privacy practices.

A link does not necessarily mean that Lusso endorses or accepts responsibility for all content, products or services available from that third party.

12.Website availability

We aim to keep the website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may change, suspend, remove or update any part of the website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal, operational or commercial reasons.

13.Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to those rights, Lusso is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website content where Lusso has not been formally engaged to advise or act for you in relation to the matter concerned.

Where Lusso has been formally engaged, responsibility for the services we provide will be governed by the applicable Terms of Business, proposal or other engagement terms.

If you use this website as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

I have deliberately kept this section relatively restrained. UK rules can make overly broad attempts to exclude liability ineffective, and services supplied to consumers carry statutory protections that website wording cannot simply remove.

14.Privacy and cookies

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained through our Cookie Notice and cookie controls, where applicable.

These documents should be read alongside these Terms.

15.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the website, our services, our business or applicable law.

The latest version will be published on this page together with the date it was last updated.

Changes apply from the date they are published and do not retrospectively alter separately agreed contractual terms.

16.Governing law

These Terms and any non-contractual dispute or claim arising from use of this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you use the website in the course of a business, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.

If you are acting as a consumer, you retain any rights regarding jurisdiction that applicable consumer law gives you.
